In a time when sense gives way,
In a life fighting outrage everyday,
Know the value, not the price.
Learn the virtue, leave the vice.
In a world where the dime,
Runs men as the commander prime,
Become the King, O mind!
Show us, how sense and comfort, may we find!
O Friend of mine, confused!
Thou, whom the world has refused!
Show them, their lives’ true goal,
Before their crimes take their rightful toll!
See the deluge around you,
Sense it, don’t fall in, yourself too!
For then you will see the light,
And hear their unheard plight!
Day in, day out, they toil with no end,
On things so many, that have no good to lend.
Yet they waste away at the feet of greed,
For they think money is all they need!
Little Drops of water, Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land!
Thus do little, wise decisions, once in a while,
Keep forever in the heart and lips, a smile!
Money and time, O comrade grim,
Should toil for thine every little whim.
Don’t let them, even for a second, misbehave,
For thence, forever, you they’ll enslave!
There are little comforts, each worth a lot,
It is these free gifts that’re most easily got.
But beware! For life is generous, but fickle.
Crave for something, and away through your fingers, it’ll trickle!
A secret to you, I’ll proceed to say,
Thoughts and happiness multiply, the more you give away!
And moreover, they are yours for all to see,
For in your mind and heart, will they always be!
When you walk through life, all the way,
Of pleasures and deeds, to not go astray,
Know the value, not the price;
Learn the virtue, not the vice!
